It is that time of year when snow and sleet may be upon us. If I have any doubts about the roads being safe for traveling, I will cancel or delay school opening for the day. Please check with the schools website or with the following local television stations for information on closings or delays: ABC, CBS, NBC.

If the weather begins during the school day and you are concerned about the roads, without question pick up your child. The teachers may need to call you for early dismissal so it is imperative that you make sure we have updated emergency contact information.

We do not necessarily follow the Charlotte Mecklenburg school cancellation plan as the weather from south Charlotte to Lake Norman may vary.
