There are many ways that you can help raise money for ccs by doing everyday things. Please take a quick look at the simple steps that you can take to contribute to CCS all year long.
Recycling - Last month we sent in the first shipment of ink cartridges, toners and phones that earned CCS $195.60! We’ve already accumulated a large box for a second submission. This fundraiser truly turns garbage in to dollars! For example the HP 56 cartridge is currently worth $6 each and the HP 57 cartridge is worth $7 each – just a few examples! Don’t forget you can purchase ink at www.printpalrewards.com and use our code: STAR – you will get a 10% discount and pay no tax or shipping and CCS will earn 10% of your order amount.
Box Tops – Joyce Burke submitted 6,140 Box Tops this month. WOW! That’s $614.00 for the school. That is awesome. Keep those tops coming. If you can trim them before you send them in, that helps even more! You can also make a contribution to the school by doing your online holiday shopping through Box Tops Marketplace. The school earns a percentage of your online purchases when you link through the Box Tops website and then shop online as usual. There is no additional cost to you. Visit www.boxtops4education.com to sign up for the Box Tops Booster Club and to learn more about this program.
Harris Teeter – So far this year we have earned $690.13. But we only have 106 cards linked. Last year we had 184! We are bigger this year and I know we can exceed last year’s number. Last year we raised $3,055.45 through this program. So please, please, please link those cards!!!! Here’s the link: https://www.harristeeter.com/default.aspx?pageId=32. Click now to tie your VIC card to CCS account number 5132 . You can also tell your cashier as you are checking out to link your card to 5132. They can look it up, but it helps to know the number.
Food Lion – We also need all you Food Lion Shoppers to link your MVP Cards. The easiest way to link is to go to www.foodlion.com/IntheCommunity/ShopandShare Unfortunately, you cannot link at the register. But you can call 1-800-210-9569 to link. Take the number with you and check that off your to-do list while you are in carpool line! We have only 34 cards linked for the current quarter and only 23 cards linked for the first quarter beginning January 1st. So link those cards!
Target – We currently have 11 cards linked that earned an August donation of $76.29. If you have a Target Visa, don’t forget to tie it to CCS.
Tyson – We recently submitted 207 Tyson Project A+ labels which earned $49.68! Keep sending in those labels. Make sure you send in the entire box top or package top. Tyson does not accept partial labels. Do not cut out the small, black Project A+ portion of the label separately. I have been receiving partial labels and I hate for anyone’s effort to be wasted. Those labels are worth 24 cents each.
A few more things: we are not collecting Kool Aid points, Betty Crocker points or yogurt lids. I don’t want anyone’s precious time and effort to be wasted…we just don’t use these items. Torn or incomplete labels or tops cannot be submitted. Please make sure the milk caps you submit are Harris Teeter or Hunter’s Farm brand ONLY. Those brands have an “H” on the lid and are worth a nickel each.

Thank you for your continued support and contribution to our school!
