Relationship centered small communities of about 10-12 students
Advisory groups stay together for 3 years
Advisor will help children to pursue their interests and goals
Group driven projects such as service learning
Curriculum includes topics such as:
-Time management and organizational skills
-Conflict resolution
-FLEBHS
-Academic support and student advocacy
-Assist with the development of an individual learning plan that
includes consideration for a students individual learning style
Research has shown that a well implemented advisory in conjunction with small school size maximizes student performance
